An Ode to Feminity - Château de Varennes

"With a misty atmosphere, in a dreamlike state, we see a bride strolling and wandering in the castle grounds the day before her wedding. The movements are slow and rhythmic at the same time, punctuated by the beating of her heart with much excitement present! She plays with the materials of her veil with delicacy and sensuality. She perfumes herself to mark this very special day. She dreams of this beautiful lingerie that she will wear on her wedding day, and an intimate and personal boudoir session. The atmosphere is feminine and poetic. She plays, she dances, she imagines the day when she will say "yes" to the man who will support her for the rest of her life. Since she was a child, she's dreamed of this moment and today we celebrate it. She decides to wear her dress, this beautiful dress with delicate pink reflections that symbolise romanticism and femininity. She feels strong, unstoppable and full of determination. Her movements accelerate, her impatience at what's ahead stronger than anything. She puts on her majestic flowered cape over her dress and feels invincible. As all good things must come to an end, whilst she is at the height of her joy, we see her in her bed with a magnificent flowery mask over her eyes. She wakes up and realises that it was all a dream! The dream of her life, the one she will live tomorrow...

Florals by LA MAISON DAUTEL are in warm, welcoming tones of blush and cappuccino and gowns by MADEMOISELLE RÊVE are total show-stoppers.
